If you have land, we will plant trees! You just have to fence your land. Trees are funded by voucher sales and donations
The basis of our collaboration is a landowner’s genuine wish to set aside some portion of their land for native trees and habitat on a non-commercial, long-term basis.
We have planted 6000+ native trees around Ireland creating a number of modest woodlands on lands that the owners wish to set aside for native trees and habitat
Treeplanting projects are funded mainly through the sale of tree vouchers. We set the cost of one tree voucher at €5 - average cost of planting and protecting one bareroot sapling
We in GreenFriends Ireland are inspired by a great love and gratitude for the natural, living beauty of Ireland. Our deep wish is to see the balance and diversity of our natural world restored and protected.
We act to help protect the precious balance of life on our planet through community-based initiatives aiming to awaken the understanding that nature and humanity are inextricably linked, to cultivate our love of nature, and to offer real, practical opportunities for us to live in greater harmony with nature.
Since 2016 we have planted over 6000 trees creating 6 different nature reserves.
